Why this site exists
Training information is everywhere, but much of it is generic, disconnected from race execution or written as if every athlete has unlimited time. Endurance Unpacked exists to make the important decisions clearer: what to prioritize, how to adapt and how to arrive ready to execute your own goal.
About Vincent
Vincent Meheut is an amateur runner and long-course triathlete who trains while working full time and travelling frequently. His experience shapes the practical questions covered here, but personal experience is never presented as universal proof or a professional qualification.
Editorial standards
- People first: every page must answer a real training or race question.
- Experience labelled: first-hand observations are used only when genuine and relevant.
- Sources matter: health, physiology, heat, hydration and nutrition claims require authoritative evidence.
- Expert review: specialist products or higher-risk advice receive qualified review where required.
- No invented authority: we do not invent credentials, studies, results or product tests.
- Transparent business: affiliate and commercial relationships are disclosed clearly.
Our definition of performance
Performance means progress toward your own goal. A first finish, a sub-2-hour half marathon and a sub-1:25 half marathon can each represent serious performance in the right context. Endurance Unpacked is ambitious without being elitist.
